Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Casa is Spanish for home, so it’s an ironic name for a pup who doesn’t have a home of his own right now. That’s where you come in- this Casa needs a casa and a familia of his own!! Here’s what one volunteer said about this handsome young boy:

“Casa is a bundle of joy, and a bundle of unbounded energy. He’s calm when I approach his kennel but can get quite excited when he realizes that we’re going for a walk. Casa loves to run and so do I, so we agree on a pace and direction and set off on our adventure. He has a straight track and a steady cadence and could probably run for miles if given the chance.

We usually head for the wash so he can explore the scents, but he has recently discovered ducks over by the fishing lake so we headed in that direction. He would love to go swimming after the ducks, but the water was a little too cold for me. Instead, we walked around the perimeter where Casa could dip his paws in the water. As he burned off some of that puppy energy, his leash manners improved, and he became much more engaged with me. He checked in regularly and sat nicely for treats.

Casa was quite calm after our expedition and he sat patiently while being unleashed back in his kennel. His great behavior was rewarded with treats and affection. Casa will do best with an active partner who can give him plenty of exercise and stimulation. His manners need some work but he is attentive, intelligent, and treat motivated and will pick up the necessary skills quickly. A diamond in the rough.”

Casa came to PACC with another dog and was social and playful during his most recent evaluation with other PACC pups. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Bring Casa to your casa today!!
