Go Tigers! Actually, our Auburn has found it hard to keep up on the college football stats from her kennel. This girl needs a home and an ESPN cable package stat!! And really, if you’re not a football family, Auburn will adjust. Real Housewives? Sure. Dancing with the Stars? Yep. Obscure foreign documentaries? Everyone has their limit…

Auburn was found as a stray, so is looking for a home with secure yard and a family committed to keeping her safe and sound. She needed some medical care when she first arrived at PACC, but now she’s thriving and ready to head home. Here’s what her volunteer friends had to say:

“Auburn is such a joy to walk. She is very calm on her walks, loose leash walking. I have to slow my pace down to keep from walking ahead of her. She just moseys along and it's so nice to see her so relaxed away from the shelter. I stop and give her pets which she enjoys. She is such a well-behaved girl the entire walk. I wish that she could be my walking partner for the whole day. I have become very fond of this sweet girl and enjoy her very much.”

“I have been walking Auburn regularly and she has become a favorite companion. She relaxes over the course of our walk around the lake. She loves investigating the interesting scents and running across the grassy field. She is treat- motivated and has a solid sit and a gentle mouth. She loves exploring and was fascinated watching the waves and birds in the fishing lake. She is a fine dog who is eager to please!”

“Auburn was one of the last dogs to be taken out for a walk today. She is easy to leash and walks nicely. She enjoyed sniffing around the play yard and relaxed in the shade and fresh air.”

Auburn was social and tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Ask to meet Auburn today!!
