Odette is a pretty gal who came to PACC as a stray and immediately started winning hearts. Odette recently spent about five weeks in a foster home and we learned so much about her!

- She walks great on leash and enjoys sniffing all the things
- She loves butt scratches
- She’s playful but also appreciates the couch potato lifestyle
- She is well- behaved when left alone
- She knows ‘sit’ and ‘paw’
- She lets you know when she needs to go out to potty

“She's a really good girl who needs training and patience. I work nearly every day so I don't have time to work with her like she needs and deserves. She would make a great hiking partner and has been very tolerant of all handling.”

“Odette recently went on a day trip- she loves car rides, hiking and cheeseburgers! A fun fact about Odette is she does NOT like pup cups.
Odette LOVES people! She is very affectionate and enjoys kisses and cuddles. If you stand still, she sneaks between your legs for a quick butt scratch. Odette was very comfortable in the car and stuck her nose out the window to take it all in. Odette loves hiking and exploring. She is an EASY walker who is attentive and has excellent leash skills. She has a moderate energy level and would do well with daily walks and other outdoor activities. She deserves a loving home and will make a wonderful companion!”

“Odette is such a sweet girl. She is always laying in her kennel patiently waiting her turn for a walk. Once outside she settles quickly and is a very pleasant and enjoyable companion. Odette is very responsive to me when I speak to her and receptive to pets. I think she would be such an easygoing loving family member in the right home. She is just a good girl waiting for her turn at a chance.”

“Odette continues to be a sweet and loving dog. She is always easy to handle in her kennel before and after her walk. She is easily steerable if she notices other dogs on her walk and entertains herself by sniffing and exploring. She is wonderful partner who is responsive to her handler.”

“Odette LOVES to cuddle! I sat on a bench with her yesterday and she kept crawling under my legs. She wanted a full body massage so I petted her. I stood up and she was walking through my legs so I was rubbing her butt. We were doing this waltz for a while and she absolutely loved that. What a goofy girl!”

“Odette was just as sweet as I had heard from other volunteers! She sat nicely to be leashed and was an easy walker and gentle overall. Affectionate and overall unbothered by sights and sounds during our stroll around the parking lot.”

“Odette has very nice kennel manners, sitting calmly to be leashed for her exit. She walks right by your side and will press into you for pets on any breaks. I find her to be quite calm and gentle.”

“Odette is very gentle and loving towards her humans. Easy walker once out. She loves to tunnel through your legs like a little otter diving into water. She is very comfortable with handling. A lovely dog!”

You heard it here- Odette loves her humans!! Odette has been a little bit uncomfortable when meeting other dogs in the shelter, so needs to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Ask to meet Odette today!
