Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Gordo came as a scared stray, but he’s come to understand though that the people he’ll meet at the shelter want only the best for him- and that they always have snacks on hand!! Here’s what his volunteer friends have said:

“Gordo is one of the cutest dogs at PACC with his squishy baby face and puppy dog eyes. He’s very friendly and sweet- he likes to jump up and lean on you while you pet his face and head. He’s very sweet, playful with his kennel mates, and just a very nice dog who deserves a future full of kindness. Gordo has remained well adjusted and well behaved throughout his time in the shelter, but I’m hopeful he’ll find his forever home soon.”

“I absolutely love this sweet, sweet boy! He is always polite and appropriate with the other dogs and matches his energy to them. There are a few dogs who are very rowdy and playful and Gordo will engage with them at their energy, however he also will calm himself like some of his more docile playmates and just hang out with them. Gordo will always come over to me to seek attention and affection. He is a very loving boy. A very sweet, young dog who will do well in a home with a friendly playmate.”

“Today I met this most adorable looking pibble. Gordo approached me slowly, I held a treat, and he took it. We did it again. In short order, he was at my knee, accepting treats and ear/head scratches. He was still a tad aloof, but on the whole, he seems to be coming around nicely. And he has stunning markings. Beautiful pup!”

“Today I got to see the adorable Gordo again. He must have remembered I gave him treats before- BINGO, he was at my knee, looking for goodies. This boy is quickly developing into a very enjoyable and responsive pup.”

Gordo is cute as a button, friendly, and really hoping for a bright future with a family with a loving family. Gordo has shared his kennel with multiple kennel mates and has been playful and social when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Ask about Gordo today!!
