Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Ash is a cutie patootie middle- ager who is back at the shelter after several months in a home. Ash was reportedly housebroken and doggy door trained in that home. In a prior foster home she was also housebroken, liked to sleep on the couch, and did great with kids as young as two years old. She was described her as a cuddlebug who loves nothing more than a peanut butter stuffed Kong. I mean… who doesn’t love a peanut butter stuffed Kong??

Here's what just a few of Ash’s friends at the shelter said about her:

“Ash quickly warms up and likes to snuggle. She walks well on a leash and will definitely benefit from an abundance of chew toys. She’s a fun little gal with tons of potential to be a wonderful companion!”

“Ash is an adorable little snorter who introduced herself to me by hopping her front paws onto my lap and sniffing for treats. She obliged when instructed to get down and then looked up at me with serious, round eyes.
She’s a total cutie pie! During her time in the play yard, she mostly was interested in staying by my side, getting pets, or trying to sniff any treats out of my pouch. She is a very affectionate little lady, despite the lack of treats offered. She seems like a snuggly little partner.”

“Ash was anxiously waiting for her turn to go on a walk. We went to the play yard instead of a walk- it turns out that she loves fetching balls! She brings the ball back and drops it when a second ball is thrown. What a fun way to tire her out!”

Ash shares her kennel with another PACC pup and was social and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. In fact, she even helps the shelter’s behavior team to evaluate other dogs’ social skills. Ash would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit and is looking for a home without cats or other small pets. Ask to meet Ash today- she has all the love in the world to offer!!
