The shelter staff think I am about 4 years old.

I have been at the shelter since Jan 12, 2023 and am ready to go home today!

I am currently in foster care but am available for adoption! If you are interested in adopting me, please email PACC.AdoptAFoster@pima.gov.
If you believe this is your lost pet, come down during regular business hours to reclaim or email pacclostandfound@pima.gov with any questions.

Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Penny is a sweet, energetic little gal who spent about a year in her most recent home. She was housebroken in that home and did well with older kiddos (9+). Here’s what one of the volunteers said about this happy gal:

“Penny is such a sweet, dense, wiggly little pittie! She was very excited when I approached her kennel to leash her but was very easy to leash. We left the kennel area and started off on our walk together. She looked back at me continuously, tail wagging, huge smile on her face as we walked through the park. She walked with a pretty loose leash and showed me her perfect sit, taking treats nicely from my hand. She is SO SWEET.”

Penny lived with another dog and shares her kennel at the shelter. She’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Like me, Penny prefers not to share her food, so would like to eat her meals away from any other pets. Ask to meet Penny today!!
