Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Ziggy is a sweet bouncy lady who is looking for a family committed to her long-term care. Ziggy is on daily medication for seizures- but don’t worry! This sweetheart is as happy as can be and will live a wonderful life with a caring family. Ziggy has spent quite a bit of time in adoptive and foster homes, so we’ve been able to learn so much about her:

She lived in one home for two months where she did great with other dogs and kids too! She knows sit and was described by her people as a laid back and chill dog. She loved to play tug o’ war and fetch, was polite on leash, and enjoyed 1-2 mile walks and being with her people.

In another home where Ziggy spent nearly a year she did well 13 and 14 year old kids and with the resident dogs. She loved sunbathing, was housebroken and was described as a snugglebug. She also did great taking her meds with a bit of cheese!

Ziggy again did well with teenagers in a third home and adored a doggy friend. She was well behaved, did great meeting new people, was housebroken and doggy door trained, spent much of her time napping, and was described as a sweet, calm, and cuddly girl who loves her humans.

“Ziggy is a great dog. She can be left alone and trusted in the house, especially with a doggy door to get outside. She loves to be outside. She walks well on a leash and is not reactive to other dogs.”

Ziggy would be so grateful to be back in a home environment where she can relax and be stress free! Please ask to meet her today!!
