Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Mary first came to PACC in late 2022, and for a sensitive lady like her the shelter can be a pretty scary place. Luckily for her, at that time there was a special group of volunteers who ran a decompression program for shy and fearful dogs, helping pups gain confidence and learn to trust. Mary graduated this program with flying colors! Her sweet, gentle personality really started to shine, and Mary found a long term foster home where she could continue to build confidence.

Now, Mary is back in the shelter and is ready to take on the world!! Mary recently went on a field trip away from the shelter and got to enjoy a hike and a pup cup. She was described as spunky, sweet, and energetic. She did well in the car and was well- behaved when encountering other dogs and young kids.

“Mary is so sweet! She is so cuddly and loving and was so enthusiastic on our hike today! She is very well behaved- she didn’t bark at all and did great walking around kids and other dogs! She is very curious and loves giving kisses and she loves pup cups!”

Mary shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup. While a bit nervous initially, she warmed up over time and became more social with the other pups. Mary would love to find a forever family who will continue to build on all of the progress that she’s made- and, most importantly, will get her lots of pup cups! Please ask to meet Mary today!!
