Hey there, everybody! My name is Estelle and I am looking for my forever home. I’m a “golden girl” (although I’m only 4 so don’t mix me up with THAT golden girl) who has the prettiest face and most expressive eyes you’ve ever seen. All that, and my white tipped nose and adorably floppy little ears will have you swooning before you can say “good girl!”
And a good girl I am! I am very sweet and love to be around my people, especially my girl people. When I meet new people I can get a little nervous but not will all peeps. I really love the doggy sitter who comes to stay with me sometimes and also the doggy doctor (I know, weird, right?) If I’m nervous with you at first just have a little patience and I’ll soon be your BFF! I’m not crazy about little people so it would be best if you didn’t have any of those in your house when I come to live with you.
I love, love, love to give kisses so if doggy slobbers are your thing, I’m your girl! I also love to be outside and play. Some of my favorite things are playing chase and tug-o-war! I’ll also chase a ball and have been known to chase a wayward orange (I mean, it certainly LOOKS like a ball!) I know not to go potty in the house but can have an accident if I’m left alone for too long (I mean, who wouldn’t?) I am good on a leash but can get nervous when I see other people and doggos on my walks. I’m getting help with that though and am getting better. So if you have other doggies in your house it would be best if I could meet them first to see if we’d get along.
I love treats but like most others I like what I like and can be a bit picky (a girl’s gotta right to be choosy, right?) but dangle a liver sausage in front of my nose and I’ll do just about anything (including taking my medicine like a good girl). I sleep through the night and like to be on the bed with you so I can be close. One thing that really gets me going is seeing animals on that teevee box thing. I get very excited and make my peeps laugh and laugh. I dunno what is so funny but I like it when I make them happy.
My ideal furever home is one where I can love on my family, give kisses, play in the yard, and get help to continue to get over my nervousness. Does that sound like you? I sure hope so!
