Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Did you think it was just dogs and cats at the shelter? Nope! We have Rhinos too!! This majestic land mammal was roaming the Serengeti (ok, the streets of Tucson) when he was picked up and brought to captivity. Good thing too- the wild is no place for a boy like Rhino, who is looking to live the domesticated life. Rhino can be nervous with new people at first but warms right up with a few tasty treats. What’s that old saying? The way to a Rhino’s heart is through his stomach? That sounds right. Rhino was a bit nervous when making new furry friends in playgroup but became more comfortable over time and was social and playful. Ask about Rhino today!!

**Disclosure notice: Rhino is actually a dog, so if your living situation doesn’t allow pachyderms, you can still adopt him!**
