Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Popeye displayed a clear injury to his left hind leg at the time of his intake. After consulting with an orthopedic specialist, it was determined that the best course of action would be to remove the leg. Popeye is doing great in his recovery! We anticipate that he will be available for adoption on May 16th. However, please check back often for updated information. Popeye's adoption fee will be $500 to cover the cost of his surgery.
