Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Miami is a gentle, sensitive young girl who lived in her former home her entire life before coming too the shelter. Miami was housebroken in her former home and lived with kids. Her former people said the following:

“Miami is very lovable and likes to be center of attention. She loves to play and chase her tail. She knows basic commands. We do love her very much.”

Miami can be wary when meeting new people, so needs slow introductions or a safe space of her own to head to when strangers stop by. Here’s what one volunteer said about her:

“First time taking out this lovely lady. Very nervous in kennel but once outside in the yard she opened right up! Very friendly and playful with her kennelmate. Treat motivated. Sweet girl, overwhelmed in the shelter but really has potential to relax and be a good girl in the home.”

Miami shares her kennel and mostly kept to herself when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Ask to meet Miami today!
