Hi, I’m Chloe, and I am a cuddle bug! Would you like to snuggle with me on a couch?
I’m 4-5 years old, and I had a rough start in life. You may notice I am blind, and I am missing one of my eyes. When I was younger, I developed Valley Fever pretty bad, and it went to my eyes and a part of my brain that controls balance. So, you may notice that my head tilts a little to one side. The great vets at PACC took great care of me and they have me on Valley Fever meds. I’m doing great now!
I’ve been in foster care for past six months. I have lived with dogs, cats, and even a potbelly pig! Being blind, I need a little help navigating a new place at first, but once I have the mapped the layout in my head, I can zip around like any other dog.
I love all food. I will dance for food! Being blind, I’ve developed super hearing ability. It’s my superpower. I can hear a treat bag open two rooms away.
I love a soft dog bed and sunning by belly in the sunlight. I prefer a quite place. Noises and a lot of activity around me make me feel I am missing out on all the fun. I’m really quiet most of the time, but I will bark to communicated. So, if you hear me bark, I’m trying to tell you something special. Sometimes I bark to let my foster mom know I need to go to the bathroom or if there is a lot of commotion around me. Just like humans, I too get FOMO (fear of missing out).
My foster mom thinks my ideal home would be a quiet place with not a lot of commotion, and my ideal human would be someone who would have patience with me. If this is you, can I be your cuddle bug?
