Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Loki is one of several dogs who were surrendered to PACC as a group. They are very underweight, very shy, and VERY sweet. These dogs have spent their lives predominately outdoors, and need help with socialization and feeling safe and loved in a home. Mostly, they need TLC- a soft bed and reliable meals to help them bulk up. Loki isn't familiar with normal doggy things like walking on a leash, so needs a patient family who will teach him how to "dog" and who will keep him safe and secure as he adjusts. Loki shares his kennel with another PACC pup, and generally kept to himself when meeting other dogs in playgroup, he can be assertive for space so its recommended you bring your pup in to meet him. He has lived with children but can be possesive of food/toys so we recommend older kids. He has a medical condition called Megaesophagus which means he will need to be fed upright for his meals.
If you can help a sweet dog who has had a rough start to life, ask about Loki today!
