Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Usually, Licorice is a controversial topic- some people love it, some people hate it. Not so in this case- you just can't not love this sweet young girl! Licorice hasn't had it easy in her young life. She came to PACC as a stray and had clearly already had a litter of puppies despite her tender age. She's leaving all that behind her now, and is looking forward to experiencing life as much loved pet, with a family who will dote on her. Licorice was a tad bit shy when she first came to the shelter, but her sweet, silly, affectionate personality has really shined through! Licorice loves to get attention from her people friends, enjoys giving kisses, and likes to dip her toes in the doggy pool. When meeting other dogs in PACC playgroup, Licorice generally kept to herself, but she does share her kennel with another friendly dog and they're super goofy and playful together. Licorice is open to just about any type of roommate, as long as that roomie isn't a cat (hey, it's ok to set boundaries.) So cat-free homes only, please. Ask about Licorice today!!
