Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Kodiak is one of quite a few pups who came to us from a situation where there were too many dogs and their caretaker became overwhelmed. In cases like this, the dogs have missed out on important socialization, and need special adopters who can help them gain confidence and life experience. Kodiak will need help learning about normal doggy things- and most importantly, will need to find a family committed to keeping him safe and secure as he adjusts.

Kodiak is a shy boy who is nervous of touch, but tolerant once he gets to know you. He enjoys going outside, and is great on leash. He loves to sniff and explore and does well with his siblings. He would likely do best in a home with other dogs to play an interact with. Kodiak is kennel broken, which is a good indication that he will be housebroken with some time to adjust to his new home.
