Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Kandma is looking for a home with lots of patience and love to give. This sweet girl is one of quite a few pups who came from a situation where there were too many dogs and their caretaker became overwhelmed. Thus, Kandma is shy around people but LOVES other dogs. She is currently in a foster home with 2 other dogs and one cat. Right away Kandma gravitated to her foster brother and sister. She was submissive and sweet when first introduced, but quickly became playful and outgoing towards the other dogs. She has a very gentle playstyle and is excellent at taking cues from other dogs. Although she isn't a mouthy player she doesn't mind when her sister wants to play a little rougher. Kandma generally has a nervous demeanor but draws confidence from the other dogs. She will sit on the couch with them and follow them from room to room. She loves to cuddle with the other pups as well. She is generally apprehensive around her foster parents but will sit on the couch, take food from their hands, and even sleep in the bed if she sees the other dogs are doing it. She enjoys being petted and brushed as long as you are sitting down and move slowly. She has already made great strides in her foster home and we expect her to only become more confident in her forever home. Kandma is very smart and quickly learned the dog door. She has never had an accident in the house. She can be left alone without being in a crate and is non-destructive. She hasn't had much interaction with the cat but doesn't seem interested in him. Kandma would love a doggy best friend and human who she can trust and love. If you would like to learn more about Kandma please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org.
