Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Winnie is one of quite a few pups who came to us from a situation where there were too many dogs and their caretaker became overwhelmed. In cases like this, the dogs have missed out on important socialization, and need special adopters who can help them gain confidence and life experience. Winnie will need help learning about normal doggy things- and most importantly, will need to find a family committed to keeping her safe and secure as she adjusts.

Winnie was shy at first about being leashed up, but is improving and approaches her friends excitedly in the kennel when it's time to go outside. She walks nicely on leash once out. Winnie is kennel broken, which is a good indication that she will be housebroken with some time to adjust to her new home. She does well with other dogs but is laid back and not particularly playful.

Winnie bunks with her best friend Archie and they are quite the pair! While they came from a huge family, these two have really formed a special bond while together at PACC and we would love to see them stay together. Ask about Winnie and Archie today!
