Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Not to be confused with Tejano music superstar Selena, our girl doesn’t have much of a singing voice or sense of rhythm. But, she can promise not to judge you when you sing out loud to ‘Como La Flor’ at the top of your lungs. Even she can appreciate a great song! Our Selina is sweet, friendly, and easy to handle. She can be a bit on the timid side, and would love someone to help her build up her confidence.

Selina has not had it easy, and really deserves to find her forever family. She was adopted from a foster home but surrendered again after about a year in that home because she was sick. We know that she was housebroken in that home, but unfortunately her people didn’t tell us much else about the time she spent with them. Selina then and headed off to a foster home for a short time, and her foster said that she likes to de-stuff stuffed toys, is a good on leash, and loves getting pets and affection. In fact, her foster described her as a Velcro dog who wants nothing more than to be near her humans. They said that Selina knows sit and shake and is a big old lovebug.

When meeting other dogs in playgroup, Selina generally kept to herself. She’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Ask about Selina today!
