Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Sophie is a sweet, s'medium-sized girl who came to PACC after having seizures for the past year or so. She's spent some time in the clinic to get those under control, and now she's ready to find a home. In her previous home, Sophie was housebroken and crate trained, and her former people said she's very loving. In playgroup, she was tolerant of other dogs greeting her, exploring the yard immediately and doing her own thing. While Sophie enjoys the company of other dogs, she's not as much of a fan of kids and would prefer to go to a kid-free home. Sophie is a very special girl who would do best in a quiet home. If you have some room in your heart for this sweet girl, ask about her today.

I spent quite a bit of time with Sophie yesterday and found her to be delightful. It was my first time handling her and she is smart, well-behaved, non-reactive to other dogs, easy to leash and walk, receptive to me and others in the lobby and extremely housebroken. She knows all the tricks (sit, come, stay, shake) and responds to her name. She has energy and wants to do things - you can just see her thinking. She'd make an excellent herding dog or agility dog. She appreciates slow and gentle affection too. PACC Volunteer
