Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Brennan is a handsome boy who has told us nothing about his past. Mostly because he can’t actually talk to us, but if he could, we imagine he’d have a pretty thick Irish accent. The name Brennan has a few Irish meanings, one of which is ‘brave’- and he’s definitely putting on a brave face in the noisy intimidating shelter. As the Irish saying goes, “Here’s to a fellow who smiles when life runs along like a song. And here’s to the lad who can smile when everything goes dead wrong.” Brennan is certainly the lad who is smiling through the hard times, stuck in the shelter waiting to find a forever home. When meeting other dogs in PACC playgroup, Brendan seemed interested in the other pups, but was a bit awkward in his interactions. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit- what if his future roomie makes fun of his accent? Or doesn’t drink Guinness???
