Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Woola is a big girl, weighing in at just over 80 pounds. Didn’t you hear that it’s 2021 and skinny supermodels are a thing of the past?? We don’t know too much about Woola’s history, but what she’s told us so far is that she looooves people and is a super friendly gal.
FOSTER Q & A:
What are Woola's best qualities?
She's a fast learner! She learned the dog door in a couple hours our first night. She is also doing very well on her muzzle conditioning and quickly takes on any new challenge I throw at her!
Describe affection level:
If I'm lying in bed, she'll come up to me and give me a big 'Woola hug' (like a giant bear hug) and then snuggle up in my armpit strategically placing her head on my shoulder so she gets lots of pets.
We muzzle train by smothering peanut butter all over the muzzle. Her face in the muzzle as she tries to get it all is so cute. She also LOVES car rides. her face just lights up when she gets in the car.
Details on training:
Great progress on loose leash walking,. She usually walks well and understands 'stop'. When I say 'stop' she stops (almost always). She is a big young girl with lots of energy and likes a bit of a run. I often run with her, and when I say stop, she does.
Woola is very good in her crate if I am present. She eats in it and sometimes sleeps in it. I sleep in the same room. She has spent up to 8 hrs in the crate overnight with me sleeping next to the crate.
She loves her treat pickle best at the moment; especially when filled with peanut butter. She likes tug-o-war but only about 10 min/day.
Adjectives to describe her?
Energetic, loving, cuddly, cheeky
What does she doe that exemplifies those adjectives?
Always wants to be with me. Sleeps in bed with me. Comes up and gives me a big Woola cuddle or places her head in my lap for pets.
Best physical traits?
Her totally ripped booty! What a set of muscles! I wish mine looked like that!
