CENSUS DEADLINE 3PM Sunday 04/14/24
Name: Bella Grace
Animal ID: A723271
Age: 3 years
Weight: 54 lbs.
About: Bella is a playful lady who is looking for a family of her own! Bella will need to find placement with a foster or an adopter before 3pm Sunday April 14, 2024. She is available for foster or adoption through PACC.

She’s spent enough time in the noisy, critically overcrowded shelter and is ready for some peace and quiet in the comfort of a real home where she can thrive with the comforts of human companionship she craves!

Bella first came to PACC in August 2023 when she was surrendered after a minor bite to her owner when trying to separate a dog altercation with two small dogs. Her previous owners said that they had Bella since she was a puppy. That she was good with the kids in the home, that she is playful, and crate trained. The previous owner said that as Bella got older she started to resource guard her food, toys and people from other dogs which led to altercations. She is very energetic and loves her people, so may do best as an only dog with an active adopter or foster.

Bella spent a bit of time in a foster home where she was a quiet houseguest overall and did well in a busy home with multiple college roommates. She was reportedly housebroken and did great with all people that she met. She loves tennis balls, tug o’ war, and sleeping in bed next to her people.

Here is what one of the volunteers has said about her in the shelter:
“Bella is a gorgeous and friendly gal who shows her excitement for her walks without being pushy. She is eager in her kennel but comfortable with handling. I always look forward to my time with her. Bella is the perfect companion on walks. She loves attention and listens well, coming over quickly when called. On the other hand, she is also comfortable entertaining herself by sniffing and exploring. She takes treats nicely, eagerly leans into pets, wags her tail for praise and is a great loose leash walker. She seems confident and well-adjusted, having had various kennelmates and having been housed solo during her time at PACC.
Bella is such a well-adjusted little gal who is always easy and well-behaved.”

Bella was introduced to other dogs in a playgroup, but has not done well with kennelmates. Bella would like to find her FUR-EVER home with someone that doesn’t have other pets. If you are interested in meeting Bella come to PACC before 3pm Sunday 04/14/24.
