Not Available for Foster

My name is SUFI.

I am a spayed female, brown Pit Bull Terrier.

I weigh approximately 58.50 lbs.

The shelter staff think I am about 7 years old.

I have been at the shelter since Oct 21, 2020 and am ready to go home today!

I am currently in foster care but am available for adoption! If you are interested in adopting me, please email PACC.AdoptAFoster@pima.gov.

Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Foster Q & A! (Cont.)

7. What are the animal's best qualities? Despite everything she's been through, Sufi just absolutely LOVES people. She is trusting with humans and has so much love to give. She is an incredible dog.
8. What are your favorite things about him or her? Cute behaviors? Sufi has the cutest snore and she has the funniest lean - sometimes she'll lean back to try to lay closer to you and just falls right over. It's so funny and adorable!
9. What is/are your favorite physical characteristic(s) of this of this animal? She has absolutely beautiful eyes and coloring - and her EARS are SO SOFT.
10. What would the ideal home look like for him/her? Sufi would probably love a home where she can have lots of people to love her and shower her with affection! We guess that she would thrive with kids or a family, and she probably wouldn't mind being the center of attention as a solo dog or with a resident cat.
11. Anything else that would make this animal stand out to an adopter? We cannot stress how sweet this girl is with people - everyone that meets her falls in love with her gentle personality.
Medical/Behavior Issue
1. Any medical issues? Sufi is going through the process of getting a brace for her back leg with A Loyal Companion! She has been fitted and shoud receive the brace at the end of January. This will help her with a calcified joint/previous injury on her right back leg. She is currently on CycloSPORINE. She gets around well despite her joint & leg issues and is overall a very happy gal.
2. Any behavior issues? Sufi is picky about her dog friends and must have a meeting at PACC if there is another dog in the home. Her notes also included a mention of resource guarding, though we haven't experienced this ourselves first-hand.
