Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Dime is a very sweet lady and another of several dogs with heterochromia in the shelter right now- that means she has two different colored eyes, one chocolatey brown and one icy blue! Dime lived in one home her whole life before coming to the shelter. She lived with other dogs, was housebroken and doggy door trained, and was described by her former person as being very affectionate. Here’s what her volunteer friends have said about her:

“Dime was a very good girl during this week's walk. She was eager to explore the park but looked back to me often. Didn't pull much and didn't react to other dogs. Her cute tail was wagging the whole time. She sat pretty and gave me a big smile for photos. What a lovely girl!”

“Dime is very friendly! Eager to go on a walk- she is strong but easy to manage. Easy to leash in kennel and sociable. A beautiful, athletic dog. She spent most of her time exploring the yard and sniffing. Sweet girl.”

“Dime is a sweet, friendly girl and so beautiful! She has become a favorite of mine and I look forward to spending time with her whenever I’m at the shelter. Someone will be so lucky to add her their family!”

Dime spent about a month in a foster home where she was reportedly a quiet houseguest, enjoyed sleeping on the comfy couch or a bed, and was again housebroken. She enjoys playing with squeaky toys and was described by her foster as friendly, cuddly and loving. She loves to go for walks, learns routines quickly, is smart, and aims to please! Her foster said that Dime’s tail is always wagging and that she cuddles up to people any chance that she gets!

Dime has mostly kept to herself and explored the yard when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She was described by staff as being very easygoing overall, mostly enjoying being near the people in the yard. Ask to meet Dime today!
