Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Super handsome Atticus Finch was found as a stray and brought to PACC. This boy is happy and friendly and quickly became a volunteer favorite! Hes done well with dogs hes met in PACC play group, noted to be easygoing and interested in what the other pups are doing. Atticus is looking for a dog savvy home where he can get the exercise and mental stimulation a young guy needs to be the best dog he can!

A fantastic volunteer recently took Atticus to her house for a bit of a Sunday Funday (without cocktails since he's only 4, obviously!)... Here's what she had to say about their day together:

"First, he was a very good rider in the car. He sat and looked out the window and then just laid down. He didn't want to get out when we got home, so I guess he likes car rides a lot! At my house, he was a good guest. Inquisitive and checking everything out, but not bothering a thing. He adores playing in the hose. Good thing since we gave him a bath- he thoroughly enjoyed that too! Atticus played with soft squeaky toys and loved them, though he can be a little bit possessive of them. Atticus just wanted to be near us - he thinks he's a lap dog! He's very sweet and is just seeking a buddy to be kind and affectionate with him. He can't get enough pets and scratches."

Atticus even has his own website at!
