Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Maxine is a lovely middle-aged lady who lived in a home for four years before finding herself at PACC when her people were moving. They described Maxine as a loveable dog who looooves her toys! Here’s what volunteers at the shelter have said:

“Maxine is a happy- go-lucky dog! She is easy to leash up and take out of the kennel. She is the absolute sweetest girl who just craves human affection! She would adore a place where she can get lots of belly rubs and cuddles. She is super easygoing and very gentle.”

“I took Maxine to a play yard and as soon as I sat on the bench, she climbed into my lap and stayed there for about 15 minutes while I petted her. She watched other dogs go by but did not react. Eventually she ventured off on her own and sniffed around the yard.”

As you can see, Maxine is all about the cuddles! She shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Maxine is looking for a home without cats or other small animals. Please ask to meet Maxine today!!
