Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Paco is a handsome land hippo who just crossed over to the senior side of life. But at only 5 years old, this guy has plenty of pep in his step, and he’d love to find a person or people with whom to spend his golden years. In play group, Paco mostly kept to himself or followed his kennel mate around the yard and wasn’t all that interested in interacting with the other dogs, so we’re going to ask for a meet and greet with any resident dogs to make sure they’d be a good fit as roommates (don’t you insist on meeting a new roomie before signing the lease?) Paco is easy to leash up and he loves his treats, taking them gently (we’re told he loves string cheese.) Paco is a strong guy, but he’s also a big sweetie, and didn’t put up any fuss when a volunteer pulled a burr out of his front paw. Paco is a big love bug who would love to get out of the shelter and into a home. Ask about him today!
