Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
You'll need a pretty high-tech security system to keep this Bandit from stealing your heart! This old man is 7 years young and still has plenty of pep in his step. His favorite pastime is chasing after a tennis ball, so if you have a nice yard where he can run around and play some fetch, he would love that.

A volunteer said the following about Bandit:

"Bandit is one of my favorites at PACC. He greets me with a happy dance at the kennel door and loves his walks (and has good leash manners). He's very attentive to his human partner and is always up for an adventure. He's an intelligent, athletic and affectionate dog who will be a perfect companion for an active partner."

Bandit spent some time in temporary foster care recently. He was in a calm, quiet home and his foster parent described him as friendly and affectionate. He was also housebroken in that home, and enjoyed sleeping in his own dog bed.

While he doesn't seem to have much exposure to dogs, he did fine meeting other dogs in PACC playgroup. He would be most comfortable around calmer dogs, or may appreciate being your one and only. At PACC, Bandit enjoys hanging out in the volunteer room, and is very affectionate with his favorite people- even insisting on being a lap dog. He gives great kisses and is a very happy boy. Bandit would like to go to a home without kids- and tell them to keep off his dang lawn!!
