Dan is an angel, I’m pretty sure. Not only is he the most stunning combo of blue brindle and white, but his sweet and gentle personality are not of this earth. Dan walked well on the leash and used the bathroom shortly after going outside, making me think that he may have been previously housetrained. As we walk, he checks in with me multiple times with excellent eye contact and he knows “sit” and “wait” cues on command. Dan takes treats gently from my hand and when I pet him, he leans against me and buries his face into the ground, as if the pets that he is getting were the most amazing thing in the world. It’s an ego boost for sure, but I’m not sure if I’m the only one that Dan feels that way about. He seems like he’d be this much of a sweetheart to anyone that meets him. Dan was not jumpy or mouthy during our interaction together and allowed handling all over. Based on these qualities, I think that he could do well in a home with children with appropriate supervision.
