Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Handsome Clutch was chewing on his bone when I approached his cage, but he quickly put it down when he saw the leash! He has a “housebroken” sign on his cage, so he knew it was potty time…and he sure did as soon as we got outside. He is AMAZING on leash…didn’t pull at all. I call his pace a casual saunter. Clutch looks to have had a rough life with some sores on his skinny body and a thick left ear…likely a hematoma. Despite his physical issues, he’s got a great, happy personality. Clutch saw some dogs outside but didn’t seem to mind them being around…no negative reaction towards them from a distance. In the interaction room, Clutch showed that he knows sit, loves treats and LOVES toys. I had a big rope/ball toy for him and he had a blast. He did some solo play, shaking it from side to side, then he brought it to me for some tug. He’s vocal and will “talk” to you when you take too long to give him a treat! He’s also vocal when you play with him, but he had a soft tail wag, so it was playful growls and not aggressive. As an older boy, I hope someone will still consider him. He’s got so many positive attributes: housebroken, walks well on leash, playful…he just needs his happily ever after!
