Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:

Chapo has met many people and is outgoing and friendly.

He walks well on the leash with minimal pulling. He looks forward to his evening walks. He does not startle at cars, golf carts or trucks passing. He's good passing other walkers.

He sleeps next to my bed at night in his crate. He goes in without an issue. He sleeps quietly through the night.

Chapo is learning the wait command at the door and gates rather than barging out first. Seeing improvement with this.

Chapo is a snuggle bug. He typically follows me from room to room. In the evening he snuggles against me to watch TV.

Chapo doesn't have a favorite toy. He on occasion will get his football or chew on a bone.

Chapo rides well in the car.

His activity level is low. However, he does enjoy his walks and lizard hunting.

Chapo is loving, inquisitive, easygoing and outgoing.

He shows his love by snuggling and following me from room to room.
His inquisitive nature shows when he's hunting or standing up at a neighbors wall checking out their yard, sitting at a window and looking outside or in the car looking out the window.
Easy going when he was OK with having a bath.
Outgoing when he meets people.

Chapo rarely barks. He will sometimes howl when he hears a siren.

Chapo does not eat with gusto. He's more of a grazer. He's in great condition and looks good, so this seems to work for him.

Looking into Chapo's eyes he is looking for someone to love and be loyal to.

Chapo's best qualities are his easygoing nature and his desire to be your companion.

Chapo has a cute behavior of sitting up on his haunches to get attention. He is also an avid TV watcher.

Chapo has warm, loving eyes.
