Not Available for Foster

My name is PRINCE.

I am a neutered male, white and tan Queensland Heeler mix.

I weigh approximately 63.50 lbs.

The shelter staff think I am about 11 years old.

I have been at the shelter since Dec 30, 2020 and am ready to go home today!

I am currently in foster care but am available for adoption! If you are interested in adopting me, please email PACC.AdoptAFoster@pima.gov.

Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Prince is a sweet, senior boy who came to PACC after spending 11 years with the same owner. He was housebroken in that home, and since coming to PACC, has been a very good boy. In playgroup, he was friendly and appropriate with other dogs and staffers say he was an easygoing guy who mostly did his own thing. He has been very friendly with all the people he’s met so far, but is a bit more selective when it comes to dogs, so we recommend a meet and greet with any resident pups. And, while he loves adults, Prince can be a bit of a grump when it comes to kids, so we recommend Prince go to a home free from small children. Prince is a loving, senior pup who deserves to spend golden years in a home. If you have some room on your couch and in your heart for this sweet old gentleman, make an appointment to meet him today!

Prince has spent a couple of short stints in foster homes. Here’s what we learned about him:

- He takes lots of naps and tends to snore
- He enjoys his walks and is excited to head out the door
- He is housebroken with no problem learning a new routine/environment
