Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Hi, my name is Khan. I'm a handsome, energetic guy, who is estimated to be 2-3 years old and weighs about 45 pounds. However, I'm quite thin and could afford to gain 5-10 pounds. Although I have gotten along with some dogs in playgroups here at the shelter, I can be vocal with others, so I should meet any dogs in the household before my adoption. I am a sweet guy, who will do best in a home with an owner who can handle my high level of energy. When I was neutered, the vet discovered old injuries that may require additional care as I get older. Fortunately, the shelter staff have lots of information about how to keep me happy and healthy. Because of my medical needs, I would do best in a situation that allows me low-impact ways to exercise. Free free to ask staff about these recommendations. My adoption fee is $150, plus $25 for an annual dog license, if you live in Jackson County. For more information or to set up an appointment to meet me, please call the Jackson County Animal Shelter at 541-774-6654.
