Prawn can’t help but jump for joy at the thought of finding his fur-ever home! This sweet young pup is full of energy and has lots of love to give. When you first meet Prawn, his tippy taps and wagging tail make it clear he’s eager to be your friend. He would greatly appreciate an adopter who will spend time training and showing him the best manners, providing lots of fun enrichment, and who will accept all his excited kisses. Prawn gets some social time when he’s in playgroup with his pals and can potentially live with another dog with proper introductions and management. This sweet boy knows how to “sit” and is a pro at catching treats! He is working on “down” and would be excited to learn more commands with you – treats required please! If you have children at home, Prawn wants to meet them too to ensure everyone is on board. ADOPTION INFO: Adoption hours are 12pm – 6pm every day at our shelter at 2741 S. Western; please visit https://www.chicago.gov/city/en/depts/cacc/provdrs/care/svcs/adoption.html for more information. The adoption fee is $65; all dogs will be current on core vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested, and spayed or neutered prior to adoption. For city of Chicago residents, the adoption fee also includes a city dog license.
