She loves everyone she meets and greets all the staff and volunteers with her wiggly butt and huge smile! Thelma is a very smart girl which makes her a great trainee and she’d love an adopter willing to teach her a few more manners. Adolescent dogs are great for people who like to be up and out, but also appreciate a good lazy-sesh at the end of a long day. Thelma has spent some time in playgroup with her shelter pals but she’s not too sure how she feels about a big crowd yet, and she would love an adopter that can help her make friends with proper management and introduction. ADOPTION INFO: Adoption hours are 12pm – 6pm every day at our shelter at 2741 S. Western; please visit https://www.chicago.gov/city/en/depts/cacc/provdrs/care/svcs/adoption.html for more information. The adoption fee is $65; all dogs will be current on core vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested, and spayed or neutered prior to adoption. For city of Chicago residents, the adoption fee also includes a city dog license.
