Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Hi! My name’s Jazzie, but you could call me Jazzie Pepper, Jazzie Jazz, Jazzie J, or Dr. Jazzie, even (we watch ER at night and I have to say that Dr. Ross and Nurse Hathaway belong together). I’ve been with my foster fam for a week, and boy have I learned a lot! My favorite thing might be toys, or maybe mealtime, or you know, I really like that word “outside.” Did you know if they say “outside” we get to run around on this thing called grass? There are these small dogs called squirrels that are very exciting out there, too. When we go outside and I go potty, I get a treat reward! I only go potty outside, which was confusing at first, but I’m learning more every day! I can even sit for treats! Treats are my favorite. No. Toys. Wait, treats. It’s hard to pick. I really just love everything, from kisses to cuddles to playtime to naps.
I think classical music is very relaxing, but piano concertos are the most calming for me during kennel time. I’m just very excited about everything. My foster fam told me there would be another family looking for me that would be so happy to fill their house with my love and snuggles. I can stay here as long as I need. They'll be really sad when we say goodbye. Oh! I don't really like sudden, loud noises, and I respond best to gentle "no, no, no's" if I find something that's not for me.
My foster siblings give me lots of patience and space, and they taught me how to give them space, too. Now we have meals together, we nap together, we’re even learning to play together. They’ve been so nice because I really just want friends and a nice pile of toys. Did I tell you how much I love toys? I have collected so many from around the house and gathered them into piles that I dive into and nap on.
I’m a lover, not a fighter. My foster family tells me I’m the best girl. Calm, cool, collected, and so happy to be here."
