This handsome husky is just under a year old, but he has the calm, relaxed personality of an older dog. True to his breed, Duke is friendly, smart, and confident. He greets other dogs through the play yard fence with a wagging tail and would be open to a meet & greet with your dog to ensure compatibility. Duke enjoys chasing tennis balls, exploring his surroundings, and bonding with his person for a friendly pat. Duke delighted three of the shelter’s teenaged volunteers who took turns brushing his beautiful brindle coat. He knows “sit,” takes treats gently, and walks pretty well on leash.
