Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
A181003 Ross arrived at the shelter as a stray in March 2019 - and just by looking into his eyes, we KNEW he was special and had a story to tell. He was VERY shy, and nervous around hands, quick movements and people in general. He didn't trust us until he saw that the other dogs did - but he still remained cautious. An x-ray showed us that at some point his leg was broken (and healed well) and he has some lumps and bumps that are consistent with a dog over 5 years old (we're guessing he's about 6.) Over time - his fear and light colored eyes (which have a tendency to make him look surprised ALL the time) made people pass over him time and time again. After four long months, he finally made his way into a foster home where he's coexisting peacefully with the other dogs and cat in the home. He's made a few really good people friends, and is eager to make a few more. At 60 (compact) lbs, he's on the larger side of things, but don't let that scare you. He promises to not throw his weight around.

Ross is patiently waiting to meet you. If you would like more information on Ross, please contact the Foster Coordinator at fosterpets@talgov.com and reference the Animal ID number at the beginning of this post.
