Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Meet Hero, a spirited 3-year-old boy just waiting for the love of his forever family. We can’t help but swoon over Hero’s gorgeous good looks, and he’s got a stellar personality to match! Hero arrived a little worse for wear, but thanks to our vet staff the only evidence is a slight Elvis-like curl in his lip (which only adds to his charm).

In his time at the shelter, Hero has become a whiz at Nosework, an enrichment activity that allows dogs to de-stress, builds their confidence, and fosters a bond between dog and handler. Hero also walks beautifully on leash and is great at checking in with his handler. He is very food motivated, which makes him easy to train, and he takes treats with the sweetest soft mouth. On a recent outing downtown, Hero happily received affection from all types of people. Hero bonds with people quickly and easily and is more than ready to devote himself entirely to you - so what are you waiting for? Come meet Hero today!

Hero’s adoption fee is waived. He is neutered and microchipped and has age-appropriate vaccinations. A licensing/microchip fee may apply.
