It's Tongue Out Tuesday and it's being brought to you by Baby. This little 2 year old girl has such a happy-go-lucky, friendly personality. She was surrendered for absolutely no fault of her own, but she doesn't let that get her down. She knows better days are ahead. Baby prances and bounces around in our play yard, chasing toys and enjoying the fresh outdoor air. She is all about sharing her sugar and sneaking in some snuggles with whoever is in her company. This little ray of sunshine is ready to find a new forever home where she will be loved and cherished, and can share all of her sweetness! Baby is waiting to meet you at BAS.

Dog Day Out, 4/27/24:
We went on a 3 mile hike and relaxed at downtown Elon. Baby was an amazing dog! She was great with little kids and always wanted to say hi to people walking by downtown. She was gentle, calm and friendly. We went on a 3 mile hike and she kept up the entire time and didn’t pull on the leash.

Volunteer notes, 4/15/24:
I took baby out to play and she was a bundle of joy! She was extremely gentle, kind and would be an amazing family dog!

Dog Day Out, 5/3/24
Baby and I started our day by heading to Guilford-Mackintosh Park, which was about a 20-minute drive from the shelter. She did amazing in the car and stayed seated in the backseat the entire time. She also loved to smell the fresh air when the windows were rolled down. Baby loves to be outside and take in all the sounds and smells, definitely more of a relaxed walker. She did great on the leash and would only pull if she saw squirrels or birds, but was very easily redirected! We walked a 2-mile loop in the shade and she tired out pretty quickly. She is not super high energy but still playful and loves to run! After a well-deserved pup cup and nap, we went for another shorter walk at Joe C. Davidson Park, where she got to meet a young kid, whom she did amazing with. She is so gentle and just wants to be loved. Baby LOVESS people, but didn't seem to be too big of a fan of other dogs we passed. She also loves to play with toys, but is not possessive at all over them and does not mind if you take them from her. Baby is a great pup and would love to land in a home with people who will give her the love she deserves!
