Description: If you are my owner, you must physically come to the Nebraska Humane Society to claim me. The Nebraska Humane Society is located at 8929 Fort Street, Omaha, NE 68134. Our Lost & Found hours are Monday-Friday 12:00 noon to 7pm and weekends 12:00 noon to 5:00pm.
A picture ID (such as a driver’s license) is required to redeem me. There are also fees like impound, board and license that must be paid before I can go home. In some cases, additional proof of ownership may be required such as the pet’s picture, medical and licensing records.
If I am not claimed, after my holding period, I may be available for adoption. Animals that are placed for adoption are available on a first-come, first serve basis.
We are unable to respond to phone and e-mail inquiries concerning individual animals.
