CAPTAIN JACK - ID#A124456

I am a neutered male, tan and white German Shepherd Dog mix.

I am about 4 years, 7 months old.

I have been at the shelter since Sep 19, 2020.

This information is 4 minutes old and may not represent all of the animals at the Irvine Animal Care Center.
Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Captain Jack is looking for an active household with members over the age of 18+. He would do best in a home who is committed to participating in training to help build the structure and routine Captain Jack needs to succeed. He will need a strong handler who knows how to set rules and boundaries, but isn't rough with Captain Jack. He may have some handling senstivities related to his collar so he should be trained to accept handling. Positive reinforcement training and lots of mental and physical exercises will help tailor this handsome boy into the perfect companion for a home who'd like him to be the center of their universe.
