Hi! My name is Daffodil and I am sweet as can be. I am so glad
that my foster mom, Mary Shannon & ACC saved me. They know I
can have a great life when I find my human. I am NOT Fragile.
I am a younger canine with an old soul. Smart, loving, trusting and
respond to kindness, food and spending time with people. I LOVE PEOPLE!
I am food motivated, and love to be cuddled and petted. They say I snore
when I am sleeping next to you on the couch. I warm up to people quickly,
so we can be cuddling right away. I am housebroken, and will respect
your stuff. I can crate too. I have made some great doggy friends at
my foster home. I like to play outdoors, but would rather be inside with
you.
In my short life, I have had puppies. (Where are they now?) I also
may have lost a tooth. I can be calm, but also playful.... I am short, 18" at my back, so I tend to want to stand up to meet, hug and
love people. I am working on being more subtle and letting them come
to me. I can be trained, molded and become the companion you are
looking for.
My foster mom loves me and wants me to find a good human to
share my life with. She has a busy summer, so we are hoping for
an offer soon. I can do a trial staycation, or you can adopt me.

AND NOW: Daf is so appreciative of the basics - food, water, love.
She prefers to be with her human and have contact. She is very
tolerant of humans, and new situations. A smart girl, tolerating
chaos and new places. Proper doggy intros always apply. She has
not shown signs of being prey driven yet. Her biggest issue is to
keep her feet on the ground and not jump up to show her excitement
and appreciation to see you. (Corrected with a little spray of water
from a bottle). She is also learning what to do with her teeth, so a
little redirection, as normal.
She would be a great companion for an experienced dog owner.
