Rocky is a magnificent Akita with a heart as big as his gentle giant stature. Rocky is a leash walk only dog at this time as he has a tendency to run. Rocky has been nothing but sweet and eager to give lick the fingers of staff as they walk through the kennels!

If you are interested in meeting him, please visit the shelter during our open hours; Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 10a-12p & 2p-4p, Thurs 10a-12p & 2p-5:30p, and Saturday 9a-1p. Complete an adoption application online to be pre-approved for adoption. If you do not own your home, bring consent from the property owner to have a dog on the property. As always, if you have another dog in the home, plan to bring them for a meet before you complete the adoption. Adoption fees: 6m and younger $250, 7m-5y $200, 6y-10y $150, 11y and older $100.
