My name is Achilles.

I am a neutered male, brown tabby and white Domestic Shorthair.

The shelter staff think I am about 6 years old.

I have been at the shelter since Jul 28, 2022.

Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Six year old Achilles has been a one-of-a-kind visitor for sure! He was originally brought in with a large number of cats due to an eviction. He was understandably upset and spent quite some time as a potential barn cat because he wanted nothing to do with people. But then one day it was like a switch flipped, and POOF! Almost overnight, Achilles turned in to the friendly and outgoing kitty that he is today! He now spends his day hanging out with his kitty friends and being the unofficial greeter when people stop by to visit with the cats for adoption. We are so happy that he's doing well but we know it's time for him to move on to a home where he can truly be appreciated for the amazing cat that he is. Oh, and did we mention how handsome he is? He grabs your attention with both his looks and personality. (Because of the time it took for him to adjust to being in a shelter, we would recommend that he be allowed extra time to adjust to a new home as a precaution. He will be WELL worth the extra steps to set him up for success.) For more information, or to schedule an appointment to meet and possibly adopt Achilles, call the Feline Department at 4100-848-4810 ext 816. His adoption fee is $75.
