Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Meet Jed! Jed is a 7-year-old pit bull/lab mix; he came to the shelter as a stray in August 5th. We don't know very much about his history, but we can tell that his life was very hard before he came to the shelter. Jed was very, very skinny; we could see his ribs & hip bones, and he only weighed 32lbs. Jed is doing much better, and currently weighs 55lbs, but he still has some quirky behaviors, and it is clear that he doesn't quite know how to be a dog. Jed is very sweet with humans, and loves to play with toys, but for whatever reason, he doesn't like being outdoors. He is more of the indoorsy type.

If you're interested in adopting or fostering Jed, head down to the shelter to meet him today! You'll fill out an application to foster or adopt, and take your dog home the same day. We do adoptions & fosters Monday-Friday from 11:00AM-5:30PM, & Saturday-Sunday 11:00AM-4:30PM. If you have other dogs at home, please make sure to bring proof of rabies vaccination, and proof that they have a current license in your county. Jed's adoption fee has been generously sponsored; to adopt him it is just $25.00 for a license.
