Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:

Meet Betty, our senior lady black Staffordshire Terrier mix. Staffordshire Terriers are a breed known for their loyalty, affection, and muscular build.

Despite her age, Betty still loves to go for walks and be outside. She came in overweight and has been on a diet to help her lose some of those extra pounds; she has lost 30 pounds already! She also has hypo-thyroid, which can make her a bit temperamental at times. However, we are working with her veterinarian to find the right medication dosage to keep her happy and healthy.

Betty craves attention and loves nothing more than being by your side. She's a loyal friend who will stick with you through thick and thin, and she'll always be there to offer you comfort and support.

If you're looking for a loving and devoted companion who will fill your days with love and joy, Betty is the perfect pup for you. Come meet her today and see for yourself what a wonderful addition she would make to your family!
All of our dogs come with: vaccinations including Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella; heartworm test, treatment if positive, and prevention; flea treatment and prevention; deworming and fecal float; spayed/neutered; microchipping; and adoption counselling by a medical staff member.
