Hello! Like many dogs in NC, I am currently heartworm positive. OCAS will be helping by beginning my treatment but you'll need to follow up with your veterinarian! During treatment I will be on an oral medication and will need to get a topical solution monthly until I have a Negative Heartworm Test. Hello all! This is Einstein and he came to OCAS as a stray, so we do not know much about his past. However, while being housed here, staff report that he is a super sweet guy! Einstein did very well for his exam and vaccinations on intake and has been a good guy ever since. Einstein would love to find a forever home who can give him all the love, yummy treats and comfy dog beds that he deserves.
