Leia is very sweet and it didn't take her long to stop being shy. She is enjoying playing with my dogs. She loves playing outside followed by a good nap on the couch. She interacted well with my grandchildren, and is potty trained and knows the sit command. My yard is fenced and she enjoys playing outside. She will bark at the back door when she is ready to come back inside. |

Loki is extremely sweet and well mannered. He does well with cats, other dogs, kids, and strangers. He’s the most easy going dog I’ve ever met. He will go on walks with you and does well on or off leash. However, he would be just fine being a couch potato. He loves to be around people and loves getting belly rubs. He still loves to play but is very gentle and calm. Loki is completely house trained. We usually try and take him out every few hours but we have left him longer with no issues. He seems to do very well in a crate. Knows how to sit, lay down and wait. He likes to bite the leash but just out of boredom I think, he shouldn't take too long to drop that habit, he seems very intelligent. Had no reaction to hearing my dogs barking, although I did not introduce him to dogs or cats so I can't comment on that. He was so sweet, loves toys (especially soft ones) and seems to be a snuggler. Dog Day Out, 1/30/24:
We took Luna for a walk through the woods near the shelter and then for a car ride to Elon University. She was somewhat timid there and seemed to want to go for another car ride.
- She is loving and affectionate
- Walked well on leash (No or low amount of pulling)
- Did well riding in the car

Max is a super sweet 6 year old boy who is looking for a new family to share his sugar with. He was adopted from us a few years back, but a family member's health issues has brought him back to us. Max is housetrained and lived with young children. He's friendly with other animals, crate trained, loving and affectionate, playful, easy-going, and listens to basic commands.
